This isn't just an auditioning class, our focus is broadened to The Atelier's big three- Creativity, Technical, and Business. Our goal is to meet actors where they're at and prepare them for where they want to go. This means putting in the groundwork for the specific skills required to help each actor reach their individual goals. We get you working while still preparing you for those larger roles to come. We mentor a full understanding of the industry, making sure you understand the casting process including what goes on after your tape is sent off, how different auditions are handled depending on what network they’re for, and knowing the intersection of your strengths and the scene’s needs. But first, let’s get you working. To keep this class as well rounded as possible, students are given scenes on Monday to prepare as they would for an audition. We work them in the room on Wednesday, then they'll be given the option of taking those notes and use them to create a self tape to be handed in before the next class. Anna will give in depth notes on their self tape to make sure they're challenged and constantly learning how they fit in this industry and how they can best use that to their advantage! Classes are kept small, no more than 5, to ensure everyone gets adequate attention. Please note class length will vary depending on the needs of students that day.
