Service Description

This isn't just an auditioning class. We study in the on camera audition style, but our focus is broadened to The Atelier's big three- Creativity, Technical, and Business. Our goal is to meet actors where they're at and prepare them for where they want to go. This means putting in the groundwork for the specific skills required for booking on tape all well as in the room so we get you working while still preparing you for those larger roles to come. We mentor a full understanding of the industry, making sure you understand the casting process including what goes on after you leave, how different auditions are handled depending on what network they’re for, and knowing the intersection of your strengths and the scene’s needs. But first, let’s get you working. To keep this class as well rounded as possible, students are given scenes on Thursday to prepare as they would for an audition. We work them in the room on Sunday, then they'll be given the assignment to take those notes and use them to create a self tape to be handed in before the next class. Anna will give in depth notes on their self tape to make sure they're challenged and competitive in both formats!
